Here at 6CATS International, we pride ourselves on the hard work we do to provide world-class service to the international contracting industry, and welcome all recognition of this. Therefore, we are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for Global Payroll Supplier of the Year at the Global Payroll Awards 2019. The awards recognise those driving the payroll industry forward, setting the standard and an example that others can aspire to follow, with the winners due to be announced at an event in Budapest in May.
Michelle Reilly, our CEO commented on the nomination, stating that news:
“Being shortlisted for Global Payroll Supplier of the Year is not only great news for the company and our hard-working team, but also testament to the strategic approach we take in our work with recruiters, employers and contractors. By working in partnership with our clients, and having a highly trained group of experts on hand with experience in global compliance across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and further afield, we’re able to provide fully compliant, transparent and streamlined contractor workforce solutions. Having the flexibility and experience to quickly develop solutions in ‘new’ countries also enables our clients to increase their global footprint without the need to invest or incorporate locally.”
The nomination for Global Payroll Supplier of the Year is just the latest in a number of recent recognitions of the quality of our work. In 2018 we were delighted to win not only the Best Company for Customer Service 2018 category at the Recruitment International Supplier Awards, but also see Michelle become Telegraph Female Business Leader of the Year. So, what exactly makes 6CATS stand apart? :
We know that providing a customer service that goes above and beyond the norm is critical. We truly care about our contractors and the agencies we work with, and do the utmost that we can to make sure that they are compliant wherever they choose to work or do business. In fact, if you look at our testimonials, it is clear that we develop strong relationships with professionals and solid partnerships with recruitment firms that are built on trust and mutuality of benefit.
We ensure our contractors not only have a rewarding and enjoyable experience working abroad, but also steer clear of the potential pitfalls of breaching tax and compliance legislation overseas. Individuals can rest assured that, by using 6CATS, they are fully compliant in their chosen destination. And where contractors are offered solutions that seem too good to be true, we’re not afraid to highlight that this is probably because they are!
Our team is comprised of individuals with a wealth of knowledge on an international scale. While we use this to provide the best service to our client agencies, we also share our advice far and wide. We want to help firms across the industry remain compliant and reduce the risks associated with international contractor placement. At a time when global compliance is becoming increasingly complex, our focus on knowledge sharing will certainly benefit recruiters of all sizes.
We have also recently extended our service offering in order to help recruitment firms with their internal tax and compliance by launching a consulting product, 6CATSPRO. We understand that some recruitment businesses want to manage contractor compliance in-house without outsourcing the whole function, but still need assistance in developing the right processes or require training for teams within their business. Furthermore, the option of engaging in-country lawyers and accountants for advice often results in spiralling costs, with no clear picture of what is actually workable. However, through 6CATSPRO, we can offer commercial, practical, industry-specific advice and support to the recruitment profession.
Recruiters need not worry
While we are delighted to be nominated for awards such as Global Payroll Supplier of the Year, this only stems from our dedication to our main goal, providing the best possible service to recruitment agencies and contractors. For those looking to place contractors abroad, the tax and compliance situation is more complicated than ever. With legislation such as the Criminal Finances Act 2017 (CFA), and global initiatives such as the Common Reporting Standard, any unintended compliance errors by you or a contractor you have placed could land your firm in hot water. This shouldn’t stop you from taking advantage of overseas opportunities, and with a trusted partner, you can mitigate any risk of non-compliance. At 6CATS, we offer fully compliant solutions across a huge range of locations, and fully indemnify recruitment businesses and end users from any tax compliance liability.
